We are so lucky that not only do we have our wonderful community at Solar Yoga, but we also live in an area that embraces the yogic lifestyle! There are many wonderful opportunities, right here in our backyard, to connect with other people who practice as we do.   Venus de Miles women’s bike race

On August 29, 2010 in Prospect of Longmont, Colorado, thousands will come together to enjoy the indescribable exhilaration of Venus de Miles. The bike ride, festival, sisterhood, and inspiration that define Venus de Miles are back, bigger and better than ever!

Solar Yoga is proud to sponsor this amazing event for women!

Venus de Miles is a lot of things: a way to help young people and communities, a celebration of sisterhood and a whole lot of fun. But one thing it isn’t is a race. So, if you want a trophy for crossing the finish line first, you’ll have to bring your own. This year’s Venus de Miles features three different courses to accommodate anyone’s skill level. Choose between the calf-cramping 67-mile ride, the heart pounding 51-mile course, or a relaxing 33-mile jaunt through the scenic countryside.
