Our Studio

The Solar Yoga studio is as warm and friendly as the people who work and practice here! The front desk area and our boutique are decorated in warm, welcoming colors with an eclectic assortment of displays. Before and after class, students can relax and chat on nearby benches or our big, comfy sofa; and there are tables for those wanting to use the free wi-fi. If you need refreshment, Solar Yoga offers healthy food and drinks such as Larabars, Bobo’s Oat Bars, G.T.’s Kombucha, Teas Tea, organic hot tea, and more.

We have two studio spaces. The main practice room is the Solar Room, a 1350 square foot space with floor to ceiling mirrors. Most of the classes in this room are heated between 90-105 degrees with 30-60% humidity, creating a comfortable heated practice environment. Our Solar Room has anti-bacterial flooring and is designed to circulate the air during class and draw in fresh air between classes. The floor and mirrors are cleaned with natural products, leaving the room smelling as clean as it feels. Classes in the Solar Room are drop-in and all levels unless otherwise specified.

Our Zen Room is a smaller practice space and has curtains in front of the mirrors to allow for quieter activities. This is a beautiful and tranquil space with carpet and three large wall sconces. Meditations, massages, private lessons, small workshops, and our Restorative Yoga and Prenatal classes are held in this room. Check out the Events Page to see what special activities are coming up.

The women’s room has three showers, mirror with hair dryers, three banks of lockers and plenty of counter space. There are complimentary supplies of hair products, feminine products, and many more bath necessities. A separate curtained dressing room is provided for boutique shoppers or for extra privacy. The men’s room has two showers and bath necessities including shaving supplies.
